COMPETITION TEAMS

The Competition Team is an additional training opportunity for all Company members. Members must audition for a position on this team. Competition Team members are required to attend an additional rehearsal in addition to their Company team rehearsal and take a minimum of six technique classes per month, two which must be Ballet. Selected members will learn additional competitive routines that they will perform at 2-3 competitions and during the Annual Showcase.

 

Those selected for the competition team may also request to be evaluated for solo, duet, trio and officer routines. These routines within the competition team are OPTIONAL and are not required of competition team members. Please note that selections for solo, duet, trio and officer routines are not guaranteed to specific members each year and all members interested in performing these routines must be evaluated every year.
